What would he like to do with drums over the next few years: Perform with a band.

What made him what to learn drums: I like music and although I learned some piano, I wanted to try something new.

How long and how often does he practice: 30-40 min per day

TEACHER COMMENTS:

David Zhong is an excellent student. He always comes prepard and wants to become the best player possible. David is also very good at balancing all of his activies. With all of his homework, sports and a video game here and there, he is still able to practice 30 min and up a day.

David has developed his drumming in a very short amount of time. His first drum solo is scheduled for the spring recital. The solo is based on a samba feel from Brazil. He has been putting in much over-time in order to be ready. Congratulations David!
